Ratek WT Series Laboratory Warming Tray (Compact or Medium)

Ratek WT1 Medium Analogue:

The Ratek WT1 Warming Tray delivers reliable thermal control for laboratory applications requiring gentle, consistent heating during sample preparation and small-scale incubations. Featuring a generous 450 x 250mm anodised aluminium heating plate mounted on a robust powder-coated steel base, the unit provides an effective 400 x 200mm working area that maintains exceptional temperature uniformity through its concealed bonded pad-type heating element. The perfectly flat black anodised surface ensures optimal heat transfer while offering excellent resistance to chemical spills and laboratory accidents, making it ideal for extended use in demanding laboratory environments. The WT series is also ideal for slide warming applications.

Temperature control is achieved through a stable solid-state analogue controller mounted on the front panel, providing precise temperature regulation from approximately 28°C to 80°C (minimum 5°C above ambient temperature). Clear visual indicators display both power-on and heating-on status for constant operational awareness, while an integrated thermal cut-out safety system automatically removes power to the heating element in the event of control failure or overheating conditions. This combination of reliable temperature control, safety features, and durable construction makes the WT1 suitable for diverse laboratory applications including slide warming, sample preparation, reagent heating, and various procedures requiring consistent gentle heating across a large, uniformly heated surface.

Key Features for Ratek WT1 Analogue Warming Tray:

  • Warranty: Ratek WT1 backed by industry-leading 3-year parts warranty, designed and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia, ensuring long-term reliability for laboratory applications.
  • Large Heating Surface: Generous 450 × 250mm perfectly flat anodised aluminium warming plate provides even heat transfer across entire surface for uniform temperature distribution.
  • Simple Analogue Control: Solid-state analogue temperature control with large control dial enables quick, easy temperature selection and provides repeatable, stable control from ambient +5°C to 80°C (minimum 30°C).
  • Concealed Bonded Element: Heating element bonded beneath plate surface delivers uniform temperatures across entire warming area without hot spots or temperature gradients.
  • Chemical-Resistant Surface: Black anodised aluminium surface resists most chemical spills and provides durable, easy-to-clean working area for daily laboratory use.
  • Visual Indicators: Large bright neon lights indicate both power status and heating element activity for constant visual confirmation of operational status.
  • Safety Protection: Built-in over-temperature cutout provides automatic safety shutdown preventing overheating and protecting samples and equipment.
  • Versatile Accessory Compatibility: Compatible with Ratek's wide range of aluminium dry-block heater blocks (SBxx, EBxx, FBxx, CBxx, MBx series) for uniform tube and vial heating.
  • Optional Enclosure System: Custom clear polycarbonate free-standing covers available to reduce temperature loss, improve stability, and provide safety guard while maintaining sample visibility.
  • Compact Footprint: Overall dimensions of L530 × W250 × H50mm with 3.0kg weight provide stable benchtop operation while minimizing workspace requirements at 240VAC/280W power input.
