Ratek Dedicated Block Series Description
The Ratek Dedicated Blocks are precision CNC-machined solid anodized aluminium accessories specifically engineered to suit the entire range of Ratek dry block heaters while maintaining compatibility with many other brands of block heaters for maximum laboratory versatility. Available in thirteen different model configurations to accommodate diverse sample vessel requirements, these blocks feature standardized dimensions of L95mm x W75mm x H50mm with a chemical-resistant black anodized finish that ensures exceptional durability and longevity in demanding laboratory environments. The solid aluminium construction delivers rapid heat transfer and excellent temperature uniformity for consistent sample heating, enabling rapid block heat-up when used in Ratek dry block heaters.
Beyond the standard offerings, customized blocks are available upon request when standard configurations are unsuitable for specific applications, with options available in 50mm, 80mm, and 100mm depths to accommodate a wide range of specialized laboratory requirements. Each block includes a thermometer reference hole for accurate temperature monitoring and verification, ensuring precise control and repeatability across all heating applications. The robust design and universal compatibility make these dedicated blocks ideal for laboratories using multiple brands of dry block heaters, while optional evaporation manifolds are available to enhance functionality for specialized applications such as sample concentration and solvent removal, providing comprehensive solutions for routine heating, incubation, and sample preparation tasks across diverse laboratory workflows.
